Elizabeth Steyn is Cassels Brock Fellow and Assistant Professor in Mining and Finance Law at Western University. At the Faculty of Law, she leads the Program in Mining Law, Finance and Sustainability, including the Graduate Diploma in Mining Law, Finance and Sustainability. Her expertise in sustainable and responsible mining industry practices extends to the extraterrestrial realm. At Western Space, she studies space resource exploitation issues, sustainability, IEL, and Indigenous perspectives pertaining to space.
