Space Day 2024

Join us on Tuesday, April 30th for Western University’s annual Space Day event!

From 9 am - 5 pm, the Western Institute for Earth and Space Exploration will be hosting Space Day in the Physics and Astronomy Atrium. The theme of this years conference is 'Space Security and Disarmament,' and we will be hearing from a variety of experts working in this dynamic field. Our keynote speaker Dr. Jessica West (Project Ploughshares) will speak about her work in space security. 

Space Day will also showcase the current research of graduate students from the Faculties of Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences who are part of the Western Integrated Collaborative Specialization program. 

Food and light refereshments will be provided.
