Catalyst Funding Program
This program aims to enable Institute faculty members to accelerate projects aligned with Institute priorities through access to agile, short-term (<18 months) catalyst funding. Amounts of funding are anticipated to be in the $5-$30k range, and can include requests for specialized equipment, HQP salaries, or other expenses eligible under Western policies with the exception of conference travel and publication costs.

Experiential Learning Opportunities Program
This program offers targeted funding to access experience enhancing opportunities otherwise out of reach for early career researchers. The goal of this program is to support students by enabling them to participate in enriching activities such as workshops, field schools, collaborations, observing trips, and other activities.
Eligibility: The program is open to graduate students in the The Planetary Science Collaboarative Specialization program
Deadline: There are four deadlines per year; January 15, April 15, July 15, and October 15
