My position with Institute is very recent. My current research is under Dr Bridget Ryan as Co-inv for Virtual Care and defining best practice. I am currently PI for a virtual care Resident survey comparing modality of visits and Resident experience during covid. The bulk of my work is collaborative with WG for WONCA (World Congress of Family Doctors) E-Health and IEEE SA Telehealth Industry Connections. Both of these WG are focused on leveraging technology for humanitarian access and improving health equity, digital literacy and serving LMI regions.

Recently I was introduced to the Novartis Foundation and will begin further conversations to connect within the Broadband Commission. Both of these foundations are Non for profits focused on bringing better connectivity to underserviced regions. My current expertise is to bring various partners and stakeholders together and attempt to facilitate broader knowledge exchange between stakeholders. I also currently serve as clinical co-supervisor for a Mitacs accelerate grant and have a good connection with Mitacs Indigenous and so again my expertise would be to facilitate interested research by students respecting OCAP principles but widen the exposure to Indigenous lead projects within the Institute and Western University.
