I am an astrophysicist who is mostly concerned with understanding the basic physical processes at play in the interstellar medium using both observations and theory. I mostly focus on radiation-matter interactions and have recently ported quantum mechanical phenomena tested in laboratories to the astrophysical context. Current research projects applied Dicke’s superradiance to explain fast radiation flares in maser-hosting regions and fast radio bursts (FRBs).
